Misophonia is a heightened sensitivity to certain sounds, particularly those related to eating and swallowing. It is a neuropsychiatric disorder that triggers negative emotions upon hearing specific sounds, regardless of their volume.
This book delves into various fields related to this disorder, including questionnaires designed to identify misophonia, photographs from ASMR videos shared on social media, articles discussing whether misophonia is a mental disorder, and scenes from films and TV shows that portray the condition.
The book's design emphasizes research visibility and resembles a combination of scanned materials and medical documents, creating a sense of collecting and organizing information on a disorder that is not yet widely understood.
